Purposes and legal bases for processing personal data

Personal data are processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(a), (b), (c) and (f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR), for the following purposes:

  1. taking action prior to entering into a contract at the request of the data subject, or performing a contract to which the data subject is a party,
  2. fulfilment of a legal obligation incumbent on the Controller,
  3. pursuing the legitimate interest of the Controller - in particular establishing, pursuing or defending claims and analysing the quality of the services provided,
  4. on the basis of freely given consent - for the purpose of:
    • legal services, including conducting court proceedings and representation before courts and authorities,
    • providing information about changes relating to the concluded contract,
    • direct marketing of our own services using electronic means of communication.

The period for which personal data will be stored

Personal data related to concluded contracts are stored for the duration of the contract and, after its termination, for the period necessary for after-sales customer service (e.g. handling complaints), securing or pursuing claims, and fulfilling the legal obligations incumbent on the Controller (e.g. arising from tax and accounting regulations). Data processed on the basis of consent are stored until the consent is withdrawn or an effective objection is lodged.

Rights of the data subject

  1. the right of access to the content of one's personal data,
  2. the right to rectification of data if the data processed by the Controller are inaccurate or incomplete,
  3. the right to request the Controller to erase the data,
  4. the right to request the Controller to restrict the processing of data,
  5. the right to data portability, that is, the right to receive the personal data provided to the Controller and to transmit them to another controller,
  6. the right to object to the processing of data,
  7. the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (the President of the Personal Data Protection Office),
  8. the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal),
  9. the right to obtain human intervention on the part of the Controller, to express one's own position and to contest a decision based on automated data processing.

Categories of data recipients

The recipients of personal data may be entities participating in the performance of the contract and entities authorised under the provisions of law, in particular: courts, law enforcement authorities, state and local government institutions, banks, postal operators, carriers, correspondence-printing companies, IT service providers, and document archiving companies.
